7.0/10

I had a mix of experiences during my stay. The location was great for avoiding traffic, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room I stayed in felt a bit outdated and not particularly comfortable, which was disappointing. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of local foods, but could use more options. Overall, it was a decent stay, but definitely not what I would expect from a luxury hotel. 😕

Rooms
5.0
The room was fairly spacious but had a musty smell and felt outdated. The air conditioning struggled to maintain comfort, and the decor was reminiscent of the 1980s.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and informative, making it easy to ask for assistance. However, I found some of the communication a bit cold at times.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was convenient for getting around Hanoi. It was away from the hustle of the Old Quarter but easy to walk or take a taxi to the main attractions.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast buffet was decent with plenty of Asian choices, but it felt somewhat repetitive after a few days. I enjoyed the local foods on offer.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities included room service and housekeeping, but the pool was a bit chilly, and the gym area didn't impress me much.

5.0/10

My stay at Hotel Du Parc Hanoi had its ups and downs. The location was convenient for exploring the city, and I enjoyed a friendly atmosphere from the staff. However, the hotel itself feels quite dated and could use some renovations, particularly in the rooms which had a musty smell. It's a place with potential, but I expected more for a '5-star' experience. 😕

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was spacious enough, but the decor felt very 1980s and it had a damp smell. The shower had issues too, with poor pressure and a temperamental head.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, providing good service throughout my stay. However, the front desk experience was not ideal, as I had issues with payment options.
Location
7.0
Located a short taxi ride from Hanoi's main attractions, the location was fairly convenient, though a bit far for walking to the old town.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast had a good variety and dinner was delicious, especially the Japanese dishes, which I enjoyed thoroughly.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were quite basic. The pool and gym area left a lot to be desired, and overall, the hotel felt old.

My experience at Hotel Du Parc Hanoi was mixed. The room was spacious and clean, yet I found some aspects lacking. The service was friendly and welcoming, particularly with Nam at the door who helped me navigate the bustling streets. However, dining options could be improved, as some meals didn’t quite meet expectations.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was large, clean, and provided a beautiful park view. Though it was comfortable, I felt it could use some modern updates.
Service
9.0
The staff were overall very friendly and attentive. Especially Nam, whose warm demeanor made a significant impact on my stay.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was convenient, right in the center of the city. It helped me avoid heavy traffic while accessing various meeting points.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were a bit limited. The meals at the restaurant didn’t impress me, and I was hoping for a better selection.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were satisfactory, with good housekeeping and additional services like car hire available. However, room service could use some improvement.

7.4/10

I had a pleasant stay overall, but there were a few issues. The room quality was quite high, and I loved the breakfast buffet. However, the location was a bit local, and it took me some time to find eateries nearby.

Rooms

My room on the 14th floor was spacious and clean, with a nice view towards the city. It was cleaned at least twice a day, which was impressive.
Service
8.0
The staff was friendly and helpful, and they communicated well in English. However, the check-in process was a bit concerning as I faced issues with payment options.
Location
7.0
The hotel is in a local area, away from the hustle of the Old Quarter but still relatively close. It was easy to take a taxi to the more central parts of Hanoi.
Dining

The breakfast spread was rich and of good quality, with plenty of options available. I particularly enjoyed the pho.
Facilities

5.6/10

My stay at the hotel was quite average. The room was spacious and clean (definitely a plus!), but I found the overall atmosphere a bit outdated. The staff was polite and friendly, though there were a few hiccups during my stay. Overall, it has potential but needs some improvements to reach its advertised standards.

Rooms
6.0
My room was large and clean, though it had an old-fashioned vibe that felt a bit musty at times. I appreciated the comfortable bedding, but I've experienced much better in other places.
Service
6.0
The staff members were friendly and attentive, which I appreciated during my stay. However, the check-in process was confusing, especially with the payment policies that left me feeling a bit frustrated.
Location
8.0
The hotel is located away from the bustling areas, making it relatively peaceful at night. However, it was still an easy taxi ride to the popular spots, which I really liked.
Dining
6.0
While the breakfast spread was decent with a mix of Western and local fare, I felt like the dining options were somewhat limited and could be improved.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities included room service and a welcoming atmosphere, but the pool hours were disappointing since it only opened in the afternoon, which seems odd for a hotel.
